Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 1, 2026
At Calculora, we take your privacy seriously. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
We do not collect any personal information when you use our calculators. All calculations are performed locally in your browser. We use basic analytics to understand which tools are most popular so we can improve our service.
Legal Basis for Processing
Since Calculora does not collect personal data for most of its tools, no consent or legal basis is required for core functionality. Where minimal data is processed (such as essential cookies), our legal basis is legitimate interest in providing a functional website. For the limited file-conversion tools that briefly process uploaded files on a server, our legal basis is performance of the service you explicitly requested.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies for essential functionality: theme preference (light/dark mode) and language selection. We do not use tracking cookies.
Third-Party Services
We may use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices at their privacy policy page.
Data Retention
We do not retain any personal data, calculation inputs, or results — everything runs in your browser and is discarded the moment you close the tab. Files uploaded to our few server-side file-conversion tools are processed immediately and deleted within minutes; we never keep copies.
Your Rights
Because we do not collect or store personal data, there is typically nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold any data about you — for example through cookies or analytics — you may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion, and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with applicable law, including GDPR and CCPA where relevant.
Children's Privacy
Calculora is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because our tools require no account and no personal data to use, this risk is minimal — but if you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
