Cos'e' Calcolatrice stipendio?

A salary calculator converts between different pay periods, helping you understand your income whether it's expressed as an hourly wage, weekly pay, monthly salary, or annual compensation. This is especially useful when comparing job offers, negotiating salary, or budgeting your finances based on your actual take-home pay.

Many people struggle to compare job offers because they're presented in different formats. One employer might offer an hourly rate while another quotes an annual salary. This calculator standardizes all pay periods so you can make accurate comparisons. It also helps freelancers and contractors understand what their hourly rate translates to in annual terms.

Formula

Annual Salary = Hourly Rate × Hours per Week × 52 weeks
Monthly Salary = Annual Salary ÷ 12
Weekly Salary = Annual Salary ÷ 52
Biweekly Salary = Annual Salary ÷ 26

Standard work year: 2,080 hours (40 hrs/week × 52 weeks)

Come Calcolare

  1. Enter your pay amount.
  2. Select the pay period (hourly, weekly, biweekly, monthly, or annual).
  3. Optionally, specify your hours worked per week.
  4. View your salary converted to all pay periods.
  5. Use the results to compare job offers or plan your budget.

Esempio

A job offers $35 per hour for 40 hours per week. Annual salary: $35 × 40 × 52 = $72,800. Monthly: $6,067. Biweekly: $2,800. Weekly: $1,400. Another job offers $70,000 annually. The hourly job is actually $2,800 better per year, even though $70,000 sounds higher at first glance.

Domande Frequenti

How many hours are in a standard work year?
A standard full-time work year is 2,080 hours (40 hours per week × 52 weeks). Some calculations use 2,000 hours to account for vacation time and holidays.
Does this calculator include overtime?
This calculator assumes standard hours without overtime. Overtime pay (typically 1.5× regular rate) would increase your actual earnings. Add overtime separately for a complete picture.
What's the difference between gross and net salary?
Gross salary is your total pay before deductions. Net salary (take-home pay) is what you receive after taxes, insurance, retirement contributions, and other deductions. This calculator shows gross amounts only.
